Two accidents were recorded just a few minutes apart on the Lushnje-Fier highway, leaving drivers injured and causing material damage.
On the Lushnja bypass, a Range Rover vehicle with license plate number AV 674 IB crashed into the side iron barrier and then caught fire. Firefighters and ambulance services immediately arrived at the scene, transporting two injured people to the hospital.
According to hospital sources, the injured are out of danger. Traffic police have intervened to regulate traffic and carry out the necessary procedures.
The second accident was recorded near the Kolonja roundabout, where three vehicles collided in series. As a result, four people were taken to the Lushnja hospital for medical examinations, while extensive material damage is reported.
Preliminary investigations suspect that one of the vehicles was unable to brake in time due to the wet road, crashing into the vehicle in front of it, while also being hit by another vehicle behind it.
Traffic Police are working on the ground to normalize traffic and document the circumstances of the accident. (A2 Televizion)
