The rejection of Albania's request for the extradition of Angel Brahim, sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of a policeman and his 8-year-old son 20 years ago, is not the first rejection of our country. The Canadian high court rejected Albania's claims since the identification of Brahim two decades ago that was made by the widow of the officer Astrit Braçe consisted of 4 photos, but those photos could not be found by the Albanian authorities.
The same story of rejection happened with one of the main characters of the Durrës gang. The murder of the businessman Ardian Nikulaj in Shengjin continues to remain hostage to the extradition procedures, even though the incident was clarified by the police, but the perpetrator, the perpetrator and the collaborators have not yet been extradited for the crime.
The Portuguese executioner Ruben Saraiva was arrested in Morocco, while so far nothing has been done about his behavior in Albania. In England, although it was said that the court would decide on the extradition of the client and the English collaborators this month, but November is passing and there is no news about them. Greece is another failure story when it comes to extraditions. The last one, Laert Haxhiu, was arrested in Greece while applying for political asylum in the neighboring country.
