A family celebration turned into a trap for Valentino Radosavljvic, a 35-year-old Roma man who had been wanted since October 2023, when he evaded the execution of an arrest warrant. Radosavljvic, sentenced to five years in prison for several burglaries committed between Bologna and Modena, was caught by the Carabinieri in Campania, during a celebration organized for his brother who had just been released from prison.
The 35-year-old's escape, which lasted almost a year and a half, ended thanks to a careful investigation through social networks. The police, monitoring the social profiles of the Radosavljvic family, discovered information about the party that was to take place in a villa in Casandrino, on the outskirts of Naples. This was a unique moment to reunite the family and also for the carabinieri, who carefully planned the operation, writes A2 CNN.
During the night between Saturday and Sunday, as music and laughter could be heard from the villa, the police surrounded the building and entered, taking them by surprise. They identified the 35-year-old, who attempted to escape using a ladder leaning against the wall of the house. However, his attempt was quickly thwarted by investigators, who had carefully cordoned off the entire perimeter. Radosavljvic was caught in the yard before he could flee into the surrounding fields.
