The headman of the village of Çorrush in Mallakëstër, Ismet Zenelaj, tells how he learned about the incident about the two elderly brothers, who were found dead in their apartment reconstructed about three years ago by the Mallakëstër municipality, writes A2 CNN.

"The headman of the Barjam Allkaj neighborhood informed me that one of the elderly relatives had informed him that they had not seen the two brothers for a week, so I immediately came to take a closer look at the situation. The door was closed and I took a ladder where I could see through the window.

"One of them had fallen in the middle of the corridor, while the other was slightly naked, but I couldn't distinguish them well. The smell of the bodies can be felt even outside the apartment," Zeneli said, which indicates that they may have died a few days ago. "The two brothers lived alone on old-age pensions," he said.
