A person presented to Korça Hospital this afternoon with wounds on several parts of the body.
After launching an investigation into the incident, the police announced that 29-year-old Kostika Ruko suffered stab wounds and that two people participated in the attack on him.
"Around 17:10, citizen KR, 29 years old, went to the hospital for medical assistance, suspected of being injured with a cutting tool, a knife, by two still unidentified citizens," the police inform.
A2 CNN learns that the incident occurred in front of the former French high school, where according to police, two people shot the 29-year-old with cutting tools, causing wounds to his arm and abdomen.
Sources near the Korça hospital told A2 CNN that the 29-year-old is in intensive care under the care of doctors.
There is no word yet on his health. Police are at the scene and are looking into security cameras from the school and surrounding businesses to identify the suspected perpetrators. (A2 Televizion)
