An employee of the Fushe Kruja prison attempted to smuggle prohibited items such as cell phones and cocaine into its interior. Police report that during a shift change, the employee with the initials H.Ç. threw a black bag weighing about 6 kg onto one of the terraces of the external regime, with the intention of later bringing it into the internal regime.
Immediately after the incident was discovered, the area was surrounded and the Internal Prison Control Service (IPCS) and the Fushë-Krujë Police were notified.
Inside the packages were found 22 mobile phones with their accessories (chargers, headphones), 3 doses of cocaine and 30 adapters for Android to iPhone chargers. The packages were found dumped on the terrace above the weapons depot, near the gas depot and under Guardhouse No. 1.
The police arrested the employee on charges of "Introducing prohibited items" and "Production and sale of narcotics in collaboration."

At the Fushë-Krujë Prison, operational intelligence in the prison system has prevented an attempt to introduce prohibited items, specifically mobile phones and narcotics, which were destined for the cells of convicts and pre-trial detainees.
The basic role employee, H.Ç., during the change of services, actively threw a black bag weighing about 6 kg onto one of the terraces of the external regime, with the intention of later introducing it into the internal regime.
Immediately after the incident was reported, the area was cordoned off and the scene was secured for initial investigation. The Internal Prison Control Service (IPCS) and the Fushë-Krujë Police were immediately notified. After the relevant authorities arrived, the packages were opened and inside were found:
- 22 mobile phones with related accessories (chargers, headphones)
- 3 doses of cocaine
- 30 Android to iPhone charger adapters
The packages were found dumped on the terrace above the weapons depot, near the gas depot and under Guardhouse No. 1.
Regarding this event, the General Directorate of Prisons, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office of the relevant jurisdiction, are conducting investigative actions with the aim of fully clarifying and documenting the circumstances and other possible perpetrators.
As a result of the investigations so far, the basic role employee, H.Ç., has been arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of "Introducing prohibited items" and "Production and sale of narcotics in collaboration".
This case once again confirms the vigilance of operational intelligence in Albanian prisons, which continues to play a key role in preventing the introduction of prohibited items into prison institutions. (A2 Televizion)
