Tirana Traffic Police have revealed the dynamics of the serious accident that occurred on Wednesday evening on the Vorë Fushë-Krujë axis, where four young people lost their lives.
Referring to security cameras along the area, it emerged that the "Benz" vehicle initially overtook two trucks on the road and then collided with the concrete mixer, which was parked on the road, but according to the police, without activating the blockade.
The 24-year-old driver of the concrete mixer stated that he had stopped after running out of fuel and had gone to a nearby gas station to get fuel, and that he had forgotten to turn on the ignition.
According to the analysis of the dynamics of the event, investigators have raised suspicions that the cause of the fatal accident was two factors: the speed exceeding the permitted norms of the Benz vehicle, up to 200 km/h, as well as the lack of visibility, when the "Benz" vehicle overtook the other two trucks and was unable to see the stopped concrete mixer.
