Twelve years after the murder of Chief Commissioner Dritan Lamaj, a crime for which Albanian justice has blamed only businessman Arben Frroku, the repentant justice official, Nuredin Dumani, raised suspicions about another person involved in the crime.
In Thursday's hearing of the "Golden Bullet" case, the repentant Dumani revealed his acquaintance with the defendant Henrik Hoxhaj, after he had been released from prison for stealing two cars, linking his name to the murder of the chief commissioner.
"When I got out of prison, I spoke with Festim Qoli. I told him that I had an argument with a police chief of Police Station No. 6, Dritan Lamajn. That he shot me several times when I was arrested. But when I got out, I found out that he had been killed. I was happy about that. I told Festa, if you are someone, I would give lunch to those guys who did it. Festim told me, you will give it to him because he is our brother. He was talking about Henrik Hoxhajn."
Next, in response to questions from the defendant's lawyer Altin Ndoci, Dumani confessed that the vehicle used by the assassins in the murder of Dorian Shkoza had been given to him by Florenc Çapja.
He said it was a "Mercedes", which Florenci had recognized as he had seen it burned on television news.
"Florenc wrote to me on SKY," said Dumani. "I confirmed that it was the car. He told me: I thought you were going to make a surprise here for us . "
While talking about the preparations for this event, Dumani revealed that he had purchased an encrypted SKY phone in a store near the center of Tirana. Dumani also shared details about an unfinalized murder, of a relative of Besmir Haxhias, a murder for which they had divided roles and that 60 thousand pounds would be paid. (A2 Televizion)
