The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana, has seized several assets suspected of being unjustified belonging to citizen A.Ll., previously convicted in England for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", provided for by Article 283 of the Criminal Code.
According to the Prosecution, the property investigation launched on May 22, 2025 revealed that A.Ll. possesses considerable assets in Albania, which are not justified from an economic point of view and are suspected of deriving from criminal activity carried out abroad, writes A2 CNN.
What was seized?
The seizure includes immovable and movable assets, registered in the name of the convicted person's family members:
A plot of land with an area of 403.1 m² and a 2-storey building with a basement and attic (275.2 m²), registered on March 24, 2021 in the name of the subject's father, B.Ll.
Two vehicles, namely an Opel Corsa and a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The commercial activity "Auto Lleshi" (NUIS L52116150G), which deals with vehicle repair, trade in spare parts and import-export of cars, on behalf of the subject's brother.
According to the Prosecutor's Office, these assets were created in an unjustified manner, while the family entities do not have sufficient legal resources to justify them. (A2 Televizion)
