A Republican Guard employee has committed suicide with his service weapon. A2 CNN learns that it was Gentian Lelçaj.
The incident occurred in his vehicle, which he had parked in the garage, near his apartment.
" On 05.06.2025, at around 02:00, on "Mihal Grameno" street, citizen GL, 47 years old, employee of the Republic Guard, was found without signs of life, in his vehicle parked inside the garage of his apartment, suspected of committing suicide with his service weapon, " the police inform.
From the information received by the police, it is suspected that the guard was in serious condition due to the divorce process.
