Shkodra police have arrested 40-year-old Endrit Feraru alias Endrit Cufi, wanted for participation in a criminal organization and drug trafficking.
"The structures of the Special Operations Force Directorate at the Criminal Police Department, based on information obtained through operational means, located, captured and arrested citizen EF alias EC, 40 years old, resident of Shkodra ," the Police announced.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Rome, after the Rimini Prosecutor's Office, Italy, issued an arrest warrant against him in February 2025 for participation in a criminal organization for drug trafficking. For this criminal offense, the Italian Criminal Code provides for a sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
In cooperation with Italian authorities, legal procedures for the extradition of this citizen are ongoing.
