A much-wanted Albanian justice, who is accused of participating in an attempted murder in the city of Bulqiza, has been arrested in Great Britain.
The police informs that within the coded operation "Another" 34-year-old Edison Muceku has been handcuffed.
"As a result of the exchange of information between the State Police and the British authorities, it became possible to locate, capture and arrest for the purpose of extradition the citizen declared internationally wanted, EM, 34 years old. This citizen was declared internationally wanted. The Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime has assigned to him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for criminal offenses: "Providing the conditions and material means to commit murder, in a special form and in collaboration" , "Structured criminal group", and "Participation in a structured criminal group", informs the police.
Mucek is suspected of being part of the criminal group of Hektor Xhečuka, the 36-year-old known as Tor Xhečuka from the city of Burrel, a criminal group that was involved in the elimination of Hamza Terzi.
Albania had declared Edison Muceku an international wanted man, as he is accused by the justice system of being a co-author in the attempted murder that took place in Bulqiza on May 21, 2020.
For this event revealed after the analysis of the conversations in the Sky ECC application, the Special Court issued several arrest warrants for the citizens: Hektor Xhecuka, Albert Zaja, Edison Muceku, Tori Xhečuka, Florenc Kelmendi and Ardit Gjokrosa.
So, the police clarifies that Interpol Tirana in cooperation with Interpol Manchester, is following the procedures for the extradition of Mucek to Albania. (A2 Televizion)
