A2 CNN has disclosed the testimony of Majlind Habib, who is suspected of being the author of the event recorded 5 days ago in Durrës Hospital.
According to the data from the investigative group, the 35-year-old has shown remorse for the act committed, claiming that he was pushed by the circumstances of the moment created with the victim, identified as Branko Shkoza ( 33 years old ).
The author confessed to the investigators that Shkoza's harassment of Habib's wife and insults towards him when he asked him not to repeat it, pushed him to take the 33-year-old's life.
"The reason for the quarrel was the fact that he had harassed my wife. I didn't want to kill him. Yes, at one point I pushed it. I didn't mean to kill him. I asked him not to harass my wife. He answered me very badly, he insulted me. He said to me: 'Look, do some other work than solve your wife's problems'. At this moment my eyes darkened and I didn't think long. I pushed him and he ended up in the canal. I then left home and left him there", the 35-year-old confessed.
He further told the police that it did not occur to him that Shkoza could have lost his life as a result of the push he gave him.
"I didn't think he was dead, I said to myself that he will rise again because he fell into the water. The second day I learned that he had not gone home. I went again on the second day to the place where we fought and saw that his body was scattered a few meters from the place. I didn't have the courage to tell what had happened. I panicked. When they found his body and the police and ambulance took him, I said they don't understand, but they will think that he fell by himself because he was drinking alcohol. I am very sorry, but I did not owe him anything. It had fallen on my neck", the author is said to have declared before the investigators. (A2 Televizion)
