The President of the Freedom Party arrived at SPAK this morning, where the interrogation by the prosecutors of the Special Prosecution began, writes A2 CNN.
The former head of state has been in custody since October 21, 2024, as he is being investigated for "corruption", "money laundering" and "concealment and non-declaration of assets".
This is the third time that Meta appears before the prosecutors, in the capacity of giving statements, this time as a person under investigation, since in the 2 previous visits he was in SPAK as a person who had knowledge.
In previous visits, Meta was in SPAK without the presence of a lawyer, while today his lawyer, Genci Gjokutaj, arrived at the Special Prosecutor's Office earlier than the former President.
