A 63-year-old citizen, who had lost contact with his friends a few days ago, has been found drowned in the Vjosa River.
The news was announced by the Police through a statement, which states that he had gone fishing with some of his friends, but then lost track.
His discovery was made possible through searches by the Fier Police and RENEA divers, writes A2 CNN.
According to the Police, a preliminary examination of the 63-year-old's body revealed no signs of violence, while the investigative team is continuing its investigations to clarify the incident.

As a result of the continuous searches carried out during these days, in the territory of the village of Kashishtë, in the surrounding area and in the waters of the Vjosa River, by the Fier Police services and RENEA divers, today, the lifeless body of citizen EK was found, in the place called "Bunac", in the village of Kafaraj.
A preliminary examination of the 63-year-old's body revealed no signs of violence.
