A 47-year-old man has been arrested by police in Delvina, after 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 1 double-barreled shotgun, combs and ammunition were seized from him.
The police carried out an operation to arrest him after receiving information that he was carrying weapons in his apartment.
"The services of the Delvina Police Commissariat successfully organized and finalized, during this morning, the police operation codenamed "Sunrise". As a result of this operation, citizen LT, 47 years old, resident of Delvina, was arrested in flagrante delicto. During the operation, the Police services conducted a search of citizen LT's apartment, where during the search they found and seized as material evidence: 1 Kalashnikov-type automatic firearm, 1 double-barreled shotgun, 1 Kalashnikov magazine, 2 pistol magazines and a quantity of cartridges", the police announced.
The procedural materials in charge of this citizen were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Saranda, for further investigative and procedural actions. (A2 Televizion)
