Threatening his wife with a pistol, police arrest 40-year-old man in Kamëz

Police have prevented a possible criminal incident in a family in Kamëz, by arresting the 40-year-old head of the family.

The Blues explain that the arrested man was exercising violence against his wife and threatening her with a firearm.   

"The services of the Serious Crimes Sector, in cooperation with the services of the Police Commissariat No. 5 and the Special Force "Eagle", after being notified that a citizen had raped his wife and threatened her with a firearm, immediately organized the work to prevent a possible criminal event. As a result of the rapid and professional intervention of the Police services, within the framework of the police operation codenamed "Reaction", citizen AM, 40 years old, resident of Kamëz, was arrested in flagrante delicto", the police announced.

Meanwhile, during a search of the 40-year-old's apartment, officers seized the pistol firearm with which he threatened his wife, and a quantity of combat ammunition. (A2 Televizion)
