Two people have been arrested by the Mirdita police after a conflict with a 46-year-old man who allegedly bought votes. One of the arrested is Ladi Ndoja, the husband of the Democratic Party candidate for deputy Elda Hoti.
The two arrested, 45-year-old Ladi Ndoja and 25-year-old Amarildo Jushi, blocked the road of a vehicle driven by a 46-year-old with the initials RK, in which there was a passenger. According to the police, this happened yesterday evening in the Donaj neighborhood in Rrëshen, where the police services also intervened, escorting the parties to the police station.
In the vehicles of the two arrested, the Police services found and seized lists with personal data (suspected to be voter lists), while no illegal items were found in the vehicle of citizen RK.

Criminal Investigation Specialists at the Mirdita Police Station have arrested the following citizens in flagrante delicto:
-LN, 45 years old, resident of Mirdita for the criminal offenses of "Obstructing the movement of vehicles", "Driving vehicles in an irregular manner", "Self-judgment" and "Threat or violence against election participants"
-AJ, 25 years old, resident of Mirdita, for the criminal offenses of "Obstructing the movement of means of transport", "Self-judgment" and "Threat or violence against election participants".
Their arrest took place after on 10.05.2025, at around 20:20, these citizens with their two vehicles blocked the road of the vehicle driven by citizen RK, 46 years old (driver) and AD (passenger), both residents of Rrëshen, on the allegation that these citizens were carrying out vote-buying activities.
The Police Services, immediately after receiving the notification of the road blockage in the "Donaj" neighborhood in Rrëshen and the verbal conflict between these citizens, intervened, escorting the parties to the Police Station and carrying out investigative actions under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office.
Following the actions taken, after the search of their vehicles, specifically the vehicles of citizens LN and AJ, the Police services found and seized as material evidence lists with personal data (suspected to be voters' lists), while no illegal items were found in the vehicle of citizen RK.
Also, following the actions taken after conducting the alcohol test of the three drivers, it resulted that citizen LN was driving the vehicle while intoxicated, while the two drivers of the other vehicles were found not to have consumed alcohol.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lezha, for further action. (A2 Televizion)
