Two workers who were trapped by a landslide this Saturday in the village of Poroçan, Gramsh municipality, have died.
The landslide occurred near a hydroelectric power plant under construction, writes A2 CNN. It is also reported that the victims are citizens Abas Basha and Egzon Lleshi, aged 22 and 32.
Emergency services and firefighters are at the scene and are working to recover their bodies.
The circumstances of the incident are still unclear, while authorities have launched investigations to clarify the causes of the accident and to verify whether safety standards were respected at the construction site.
