Tirana police have arrested a 23-year-old man, who is accused of 7 thefts committed within 48 hours, reports A2 CNN.
Police say they were activated after several citizens reported thefts from their properties in recent days. They were able to identify the 23-year-old with the initials OT.
"From the investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen, on 08.04.2025, stole by breaking into 3 markets/stores, and on 09.04.2025, stole 5 bicycles, owned by 4 citizens, from homes or on the street," the police said.
Investigations are ongoing to uncover other thefts that may have been committed by this citizen. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action. (A2 Televizion)
