Former Minister of Defense, Fatmir Mediu, defendant in the "Gërdeci" case, is presenting before the Special Court his objections to the experts' responses to the military technical expertise act.
"According to the orders of the General Staff, it is clear that the expenses for the transportation of ammunition were not part of the competence of the Minister of Defense.
"According to the budget law, donor funds for dismantling are considered part of the budget of the Ministry of Defense, whether grants or loans. In any other case, the transportation is done by the Armed Forces," Mediu declared. (A2 Televizion)
