The Director General of the State Police, Ilir Proda, has sent a message of thanks to the structures that were engaged in implementing the special plan of measures to guarantee order and security before, during and after the Albania-Serbia football match.
In the thank-you letter, Proda states that this sporting activity was managed professionally and without incidents that would violate public order or the safety of the participants.
"Your tireless work, extraordinary commitment and self-control under conditions of physical and emotional strain are a clear indicator of the commitment that the State Police has to duty and the law, to guarantee public order and safety, regardless of the challenges or sensitivities of the moment," Proda said.
He also thanks the citizens, sports fans and fans, who respected the Police instructions until the end of the match.
