The capital's police have discovered a call center on Barricade Street and arrested two people. In collaboration with each other, they were calling foreign citizens and, through deception, convincing them to invest in fictitious stock exchanges.
During the police operation codenamed "Last Call", 5 laptops and 2 mobile phones were seized, which were used for this criminal activity.

Specialists of the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section of the Tirana Police Department, in cooperation with the Special Force for Special Operations and Investigation, after thorough investigative work, have successfully organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Last call".
As a result of this operation, citizens OV, 35 years old, and AB, 32 years old, both residents of Tirana, were arrested in flagrante delicto.
The investigation revealed that these citizens were running an unlicensed entity, with undeclared activity to the competent authorities, on Rruga e Barrikadave, which they had adapted as a call center. They, in collaboration with each other, called foreign citizens and, through deception, convinced them to invest in fictitious stock exchanges.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
