The Malësi e Madhe police have arrested a 41-year-old man, wanted since August 2023, for cultivation of narcotic plants. Citizen MV (L.), a resident of the village of Qafë Aliaj, was caught and detained after intensive work by the Malësi e Madhe Police Station.
The court of Shkodra had imposed on him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants".
The event dates back to August 9, 2023, when in the village of Goraj, Kastrat, police officers discovered a vehicle filled with 480 cannabis plants, cut and ready for transport. As soon as he noticed the presence of the police, the 41-year-old abandoned the vehicle and fled quickly, avoiding arrest.
After several months of searching, he was located and taken into custody. The procedural materials have been handed over to the Prosecution for further legal actions. (A2 Televizion)
