A 32-year-old man was escorted by police in Gjirokastra after being reported by a journalist.
The police statement states that after the filing of the report by Pirro Nase, Jeton Muxhaj was escorted.
"After receiving a report from citizen PN, 51 years old, resident of Gjirokastër, (journalist), who claims to have been threatened and intimidated via the social network "WhatsApp", due to his duty by citizen JM. Under the direction of the Gjirokastër Prosecutor's Office, the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Gjirokastër Police Commissariat are carrying out procedural actions and will refer the materials to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings will be initiated against citizen JM, 32 years old, resident of the village of Fushëbardhë, for the criminal offense of "Threat due to duty" , the police explain.
