Two elderly women were crossing the traffic divider on the New Ring Road when they were hit by a vehicle driven by a 35-year-old man, resulting in one of them losing their lives and the other being injured.
The incident occurred this Monday morning near the Paskuqan roundabout. The victim of the serious accident was 72-year-old Lena Stafa, while the other pedestrian, Hatije Muça, 66, received injuries to her body and was taken to the hospital to receive the necessary assistance.
Immediately after the accident, the police escorted the driver of the vehicle, Renis Qosja, 35, to the police station for further investigation and to clarify the circumstances of the incident. (A2 Televizion)
