Two brothers from the village of Ngjeqar in Fier have been arrested for producing and selling cannabis, A2 CNN reports. Drone footage shows the moment one of them was arrested, who, upon realizing he was going to be arrested, ran away through the fields, but without going very far.
"During the operation, the services of the Special Operational Force of the DVP Fier arrested and handcuffed citizens K. Sh., 47 years old, and E. Sh., 26 years old, residents of the village of Ngjeqar. Citizen E. Sh., as soon as he noticed the Police services, tried to run away, but was immediately caught by the rapid intervention of the Police services. During the physical search, doses of cannabis were found on citizen E. Sh., which he was selling in the village where he lived," the police said.
From the searches carried out in the apartment of these citizens, in the village of Ngjeqar, the following were found and seized as material evidence: 2 automatic firearms, 3 combs, 1 knife, doses of cannabis, 200 cannabis seeds and 179 cannabis seedlings planted in pots.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, for further action. (A2 Televizion)
