Tirana police arrested Arben Goxhe, the owner of the AMG Food company, which imported chicken with salmonella from Brazil. He was declared wanted on March 29 and is accused of “Importing, producing, selling and storing food dangerous to human health or life.”
According to police, after consulting with the prosecutor, it was decided that the 50-year-old will be investigated at large. He is accused of importing almost 8 tons of chicken meat contaminated with salmonella from Brazil on March 11.
