Vlora Police have cracked down on a case of unauthorized interference in the computer systems of several state institutions.
Through a statement, the Police announced that after a 1-month investigation using special methods, a minor has been placed under investigation as a suspected perpetrator.
The 15-year-old, resident of Vlora, is suspected of having, during March 2025, unauthorizedly interfered with the computer data of several state institutions (emails and official websites), causing their functioning to be interrupted for certain periods of time.
Investigations to date have not resulted in the theft of confidential data or documents from these systems, writes A2 CNN.
During the operation, several devices were seized, which will undergo in-depth technical examinations, specifically: 5 laptop computers, 6 mobile phones and 1 drone.

The Investigation Sector at the Vlora Local Police Directorate, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Vlora Court of General Jurisdiction, and with the support of the Cyber Crimes Investigation Directorate at the Criminal Police Department at the DPPSH and the State Intelligence Service, Vlora Branch, successfully finalized the police operation codenamed "The Accountant".
This operation took place after an intensive one-month investigation, followed by special investigative methods, as part of the crackdown on cybercrime.
