Two wanted individuals listed on the list of the 100 most wanted persons in Italy were captured during the operation and placed in handcuffs for extradition purposes.

The arrested individuals wanted in Italy since 1999 who were hiding in Debar and using a different identity.

The Directorate of the Special Operational Force in the Criminal Police Department of the State Police, within the framework of the project called "Wanted", which aims to search for and capture dangerous citizens, based on police intelligence and close cooperation with the Office of the Expert for Security in Albania and the Service for International Police Cooperation, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Difficult conditions".

As part of the operation by the services of the Directorate of the Special Operational Force in cooperation with the 2nd Division and the Office of the Security Expert in Albania, in very difficult terrain and weather conditions, as well as the high social risk of the wanted persons, it was possible to locate in the village of Rreth-Kale, capture and arrest with the aim of extradition to Italy two Albanian citizens:

Andon (alias Afrim) Sina, 51 years old, and Niko (alias Faslli) Sina, 48 years old, residents of the village of Rreth Kale Dibër (cousins).

These citizens were sentenced by a final decision by the Court of Appeal of Naples in Italy in 2006, to 14 years and 11 months in prison each for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Murder Committed in Collaboration" and "Attempted Murder".

These citizens in the Municipality of Griciniano d'Aversa, on 22.09.1999, killed the Albanian citizen BC with hard objects and cutting tools and seriously injured the Albanian citizen FS, for reasons related to the division of income from illegal activities.

Investigations by the State Police in cooperation with the Italian Police have clarified the route followed by the fugitives, thus making it possible to expand the scope of the investigation and find their location in the village of Rreth-Kale, Dibër.

Special thanks to the Operational Center Service and the Caserta Flying Squad, for coordinating information and issuing arrest warrants by the General Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Appeal of Naples.

Close cooperation was achieved by the 2nd Division and the Office of the Security Expert in Albania of the Central Directorate of the Italian Criminal Police.

The finalization of this highly difficult operation, following dozens of previously conducted operations to capture wanted persons on behalf of Italian justice, clearly demonstrates the maximum and professional commitment of the Albanian State Police to work with partners without reservations and as equals, both in investigative and operational actions.
