The preliminary hearing in the Partizani case has been postponed to April 11. The hearing that will decide whether Berisha and his son-in-law Malltezi will stand trial coincides with the same day that the Democrats announced the opening of the election campaign.
The leader of the Democratic Party and his son-in-law are accused of corruption in the privatization of the former Partizani sports club, while lawyer Gjokutaj denies the accusations, arguing that there is no criminal fact.
The court also rejected Berisha's request to exclude the panel of judges. For Ilir Meta, lawyer Gjokutaj said that he will address the Constitutional Court and ultimately Strasbourg. (A2 Televizion)
