The Elbasan traffic police have fined two drivers for violating traffic rules. After reviewing 2 videos and photos from social networks and from citizens, for violating traffic rules, the Police fined two drivers with 10 thousand new lek each, one on the "Peqin-Elbasan" road axis for wrong overtaking and the other for driving in the opposite direction.
"Specifically, an administrative measure of 10,000 lek has been imposed, based on points 10 and 16 of Article 146 of the Road Code, for the driver of the vehicle who makes wrong overtaking, in conditions of limited visibility, on the "Peqin-Elbasan" road axis. An administrative measure of 10,000 lek has been imposed, based on point 12 of Article 7 of the Road Code, for the driver of the vehicle who circulates with a vehicle, in the opposite direction of movement, on the "Aqif Pasha" boulevard. Also, an additional measure of "Suspension of driving license" has been imposed on the driver of the vehicle," the Police announced.
The Elbasan Local Police Directorate invites citizens to report any case of violation of road traffic rules to 112 and the Digital Commissariat, and guarantees them that it will react immediately and in accordance with the law. (A2 Televizion)
