Two police officers have been arrested by AMP agents after they were found to have violated traffic rules.
The Police Supervision Agency for the Vlora-Gjirokastër region has arrested the police officer with the initials A. K, assigned to the Special Eagle Force of the Saranda Police Station, after causing an accident while driving while intoxicated.
"His arrest was carried out after, while driving a "Mercedes Benz" vehicle in the city of Saranda, he collided with a "Volkswagen" vehicle, causing material damage. The verification with the alcohol test resulted positive," informs AMP.
Meanwhile, in Has, the Police Supervision Agency for the Kukës-Dibar regions has arrested the officer with the initials HD, 53 years old, who is a General Patrol officer.
AMP reports that while driving his "Volkswagen" vehicle on "Demokracia" street in the city of Kruma, he hit two pedestrians with the initials M. G, 43 years old, and ZG, 78 years old, who are receiving medical assistance. (A2 Televizion)
