According to doctors at Saranda Hospital, it is learned that both suffered serious injuries to the abdomen and pelvic area and were transported by helicopter to the hospital in Tirana.

It is also learned that the Police found a bag at the scene, which also contained a gun. It is not known whether the bag with the gun belongs to the perpetrators, or whether it may have fallen on the two young men who were injured.
