More details have emerged from the shooting in the early hours of Thursday morning in Borsh. Sources for A2 CNN indicate that the injured person was young man Erald Shullazi, who received a bullet in the shoulder and another in the leg.
Shullazi is in hospital, under the care of doctors, while his condition is reported to be out of danger. According to sources, the police have arrested the perpetrator of the incident, Hekuran Çelaj, while another person involved in the conflict, with the initials EV, is also wanted.
The causes and circumstances of the incident are still unclear, while police report a conflict over weak motives.
How did the incident happen?
It was 02:20 when Hekuran Çelaj got into a physical conflict for weak motives with the citizen with the initials EV, a resident of Tirana. After this moment, Çelaj left and then returned with an automatic firearm, shooting at the vehicle driven by Erald Shullazi, 33 years old.
The latter received two bullets, one in the shoulder and one in the leg. It is also suspected that Hekuran Çelaj also hit citizen AD, 43, with the butt of the gun.
Police arrested Hekuran Çelaj in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Murder", attempted, and "Unlicensed Production and Possession of Military Weapons and Ammunition". Citizen EV has also been declared wanted for the criminal offense of "Other intentional damage".
