The court has accepted the prosecution's request for the security measure "arrest in prison" for Ilrjan Selman, suspected of being the perpetrator of the murder of Kozeta Teço, an event that occurred three days ago in the city of Pogradec.
At the security measure hearing, the 31-year-old categorically denied being the perpetrator of the 52-year-old's murder, and even categorically denied the fact that he had cohabited with her.
The lawyer also held the same position, asking the court not to take security measures for the 31-year-old, since the prosecution has not been able to prove for a moment that Selman is the perpetrator of the murder.
There are two main pieces of evidence that the prosecution has presented to the Korça Court: blood stains found on a pair of pants found in an urban waste bin located very close to the victim's apartment, and video footage showing the 31-year-old entering and leaving the apartment. (A2 Televizion)
