The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, stated that intensive investigations are underway regarding the events of January 21, 2011, specifically for two murders, three injuries and obstruction of the truth.
He emphasized that the Special Prosecution Office is mindful of the decision of the European Court of Human Rights in the case of Aleks Nika, one of the victims of that day's protest.
He announced that an audio recording provided by journalist Artan Hoxha has been administered, which is currently in the process of being examined.
"Intensive investigations are being conducted into 2 murders, 3 injuries and obstruction of the truth. SPAK is taking into account the Strasbourg decision on the Aleks Nika case. The audio presented by journalist Artan Hoxha has been administered and is being examined ," Dumani said in a meeting with journalists, according to A2 CNN.
The investigation into the events of January 21 was reopened by SPAK a year ago, following a decision by the Supreme Court ordering the Special Prosecution Office to investigate a report filed by Rajmonda Nika, the wife of the late Aleks Nika, one of the 4 victims of January 21. (A2 Televizion)
