Injured in Kukës, perpetrator surrenders, police suspected another

The perpetrator of the gunshot wound in the city of Kukës, 29-year-old Elvis Halili, has surrendered to the police.

While it was previously reported that a municipal official shot the cousin of Mayor Albert Halili, the incident has taken a different turn.

The perpetrator of the injury is actually 25-year-old Sebastian Muçmata, Zenel's brother, who was being sought by the police for the incident.

The 25-year-old turned himself in to the police in the evening and had the murder weapon with him, and he even admitted to the crime.

Sebastian Muçmata gave a different version during questioning, stating that Elvis Halili threatened his father and for this reason he followed him and shot him several times with a pistol as he got out of the car, near his house.

The Kukës Police, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, are continuing investigations to fully uncover the incident. (A2 Televizion)
