In one of the operations that the police conducted this afternoon in Vlora, Endrit Sadedini was arrested.
The 38-year-old was arrested in the "Pavarësia" neighborhood, near Lungomare. He was detained as part of the police operation codenamed "Danger" and after a physical search, a pistol with a magazine and combat ammunition were found.
In a statement to the media, the police explained his arrest, announcing that the 38-year-old, upon seeing the officers, attempted to flee and pointed his gun at them, but was unable to shoot.
"Based on police intelligence information and after a well-coordinated operation, operational services made it possible to locate, neutralize and capture citizen ES, 38 years old, a person with a significant criminal record, previously arrested and investigated by foreign authorities for serious criminal offenses in the field of crimes against the person. During the search carried out on him, the Police found and seized a pistol firearm, along with a magazine with combat ammunition.
Citizen ES, upon seeing the Police services, attempted to leave and pointed his firearm at the Police services, but was unable to shoot or leave, as, thanks to the professionalism of the Police forces, it was possible to neutralize and arrest him. The firearm will be subjected to ballistics expertise to verify whether it was used in previous criminal events. Also, in relation to this event, citizen M. Sh., 33 years old, who was traveling with the 38-year-old, now arrested, was proceeded with at large for failure to report a crime," the police inform.
Sabedini turns out to be a well-known name to the police. A few years ago, a quantity of TNT was placed on him at the entrance to a garage near his apartment, where he suffered injuries to his lower limbs.
He is also suspected of being involved in criminal drug activities abroad, mainly in Belgium or Spain. (A2 Televizion)
