A lifeless person was found in the waters of Lake Pogradec.
Sources for A2 indicate that an elderly man was found by vacationers on the shore of the lake, while police are at the scene to clarify the circumstances and identify the victim.
The incident occurred in one of the most populated areas of the city with vacationers.
It is not yet known whether this was a case of suicide or the person had cardiac problems at the time he entered the water.
Police announcement:
At around 09:45, in neighborhood no. 1, Pogradec, citizen DO, 87 years old, was found dead in the lake, suspected of drowning.
The preliminary examination did not reveal any signs of violence.
According to family statements, he left the apartment around 5:00 in the morning.
