The police have handcuffed a 37-year-old man, who is suspected of being the author of the theft of 6,000 euros in a hotel in Saranda.

The services of the Sarandë Police Station, after intensive investigative work and surveillance of security cameras, to clarify the thefts, successfully completed the coded police operation "Serial thief", as a result of which it became possible to identify and arrest the citizen :
AM, 37 years old, resident in Tirana.
The investigations showed that this citizen, on 04.01.2025, in neighborhood no. 2, Ksamil, in the premises of a hotel, stole a bag with 6000 euros, while in neighborhood no. 4, Saranda, attempted to steal items from an "Audi Q5" vehicle, breaking the glass of the driver's door.
From further investigative actions, it turned out that citizen AM was wanted for four other thefts, specifically:
- on 13.12.2024, in Durrës, it is suspected that he attempted to steal from a residence, as well as stole a mobile phone;
-on 08.12.2024, in Tirana, it is suspected that he stole from an apartment and a kiosk.
