The Attorney General and the Director of the AKKC sign a cooperation agreement

The Attorney General, Olsian Çela, and the Director General of the National Cannabis Control Agency (AKKC), Linda Pustina, have signed a cooperation agreement on 'medical and industrial cannabis'.

Through a statement, the General Prosecutor's Office announced that the agreement aims to exchange information within the framework of the control, inspection and monitoring of the National Cannabis Control Agency.

"Specifically, the Prosecution is committed to providing information as needed to candidates and employees of the AKKC as well as to employees of licensed/permitted entities, including owners/shareholders, administrators and employees who are part of the verification process conducted by the Agency.

Meanwhile, the Agency is committed to forwarding to the General Prosecutor's Office the complete documentation regarding the request for verification of candidates/employees of the Agency and licensed/permitted entities, evidence and technical expertise for criminal investigations and prosecution," the announcement states, among other things, A2 CNN writes.

The Prosecutor General, Mr. Olsian Çela and the Director General of the National Cannabis Control Agency (AKKC), Ms. Linda Pustina signed today a cooperation agreement for "Information exchange within the framework of the control, inspection and monitoring of the National Cannabis Control Agency".

The parties commit to this agreement to cooperate in cases of violations of the law related to the use of medical cannabis, to exchange information on illegal activities related to the cultivation, production, distribution and use of medical cannabis, and to verify the assets of the employees of the AKKC or licensed entities.
