The Vlora Police and Prosecutor's Office have attempted several times to question Erald Cenaj, arrested as the person who provided the vehicle used in the murder of Kristian Marku, also known as Kristian Bardhi, writes A2 CNN. The 36-year-old from Kukës was handcuffed a few days ago, but at no point has he agreed to give statements, failing to assist investigators in discovering and arresting the assassins.

His testimony is considered key to the investigation team, where he has been asked to reveal to whom he gave or sold the car used in the crime.

The investigation revealed that the Volkswagen Golf vehicle entered our country from Kosovo and was not registered at customs, while it had been used by 36-year-old Cenaj. The latter had purchased the car from two Kosovar citizens, but without making a sales contract. Therefore, the car was registered in the name of the citizens from Kosovo. Following the trail, the investigators went to the owners of the vehicle, and through the testimony of the two Kosovars, the police tracked down Cenaj, and arrested him for the criminal offense of providing the conditions and means to commit murder.

Investigators suspect that Cenaj did not act alone in bringing the Volkswagen Golf into Albanian territory without registering at customs in Morina, and for this reason, verifications have been initiated by customs officers.

Kristian Bardhi was killed by a hail of bullets on January 13th while traveling alone towards Vlora. As an investigative lead, agents have focused on the enmity between the Bardhi and Reçi tribes in Rrëshen, which has caused at least 7 victims for years. (A2 Televizion)
