Several people, all of whom knew each other, were sitting in a restaurant in Tirana, but the dinner turned into a gunfight between them and almost ended in casualties, endangering other customers of the restaurant. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening near the Artificial Lake.
Unclear at first, the dynamics of the incident were only clarified hours later by the police thanks to the bar's security cameras and the testimonies of the people accompanying them. The cause is said to have been quite banal, a failure to shake hands that was taken as a lack of respect, which led to the degeneracy of the debate with swearing, bottles and hard objects.
For a moment, the 51-year-old, now wanted, takes the gun from the car he had parked near the bar and shoots his 40-year-old friend with a knife and then a shot to the floor. Fortunately, there were no injuries from the use of the gun, but only one person was injured by being hit with hard objects.
After the fight, the protagonists fled the scene in several cars at high speed to escape the police. 10 people were escorted to the police station, including members of the fight, as well as eyewitnesses. At the end of the investigative actions, the police arrested 8 people, accused of failing to report a crime. A pistol-type weapon was also seized from the bar, while its owner, a 51-year-old man, is still being sought.
