The Supreme Court has rejected the request for release of Florec Çapja, extradited in May from Dubai. A Criminal College decided not to accept his appeal against the measure of “prison arrest”, writes A2 CNN. Çapja is suspected by SPAK of providing conditions to carry out the murder of Sokol Sanxhatari in one of the factions of the “Golden Bullet” file.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment as one of the masterminds of the murder of Gentian and Nezir Beqiri in 2012 in Elbasan.
Çapja is also accused of “providing the conditions for murder” to the detriment of Sokol Sanxhaktari, the son-in-law of the former mayor of Elbasan, Qazim Sejdini, in the “Golden Bullet” file. Through his lawyer, Çapja has claimed that he did not use Sky ECC and that the charges against him were filed solely on the basis of a statement by Nuredin Dumani and Henrik Hoxhaj. (A2 Televizion)
