Dritan Rexhepi, accused by Spak as the person who organized and ordered the kidnapping and disappearance of Jan Prenga's body in January 2020, testified at the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime.

He denied having any knowledge of the kidnapped person, or in connection with the seizure of a drug shipment hidden in a container in England. Dritan Rexhepi, also known as Gramoz, who at the beginning of his statement did not spare ironies with the prosecutors of the case.

"You have boarded the wrong train and want to go where you want. In 2019 I was in prison in Ecuador convicted of drug trafficking. From my family and the Albanian media I learned about a seized drug shipment and then about a kidnapped person. I am not the person you accuse. The audiotape speaks of a Gramoz from Vlora. There are 500 Gramoz in Vlora, did you find it with me? I have no knowledge and connection with the kidnapping of this person. "

For the sake of the investigation, Rexhepi was asked whether he knew Altin Hajri or not, or whether he used mobile phones and communicated on the SkyEcc application while in prison in Ecuador.

"Altin Hajri? No, this name means nothing to me. In prison, I only communicated through phone booths, I didn't have a mobile phone. The phones didn't work there because the antennas didn't work. I never used Sky Ecc and I didn't communicate with anyone about the kidnapping of Jan Prenga."

But everything turned upside down when the prosecution submitted new evidence to the court, communications between Altin Hajri and Dritan Rexhepi made on SkyECC. According to the prosecution, these communications date back to 2020 and they talked about the kidnapping of Jan Prenga.

The prosecution suspects that his abduction and disappearance was ordered by Rexhepi, who accused one of Prenga's brothers of seizing the drug container. The next hearing was postponed to May 7, where the prosecution requested the mandatory attendance of another defendant, Aldo Manjishta, to testify. (A2 Televizion)
