Arguing with neighbor, pulls out gun and shoots in the air, 42-year-old arrested

Police in Librazhd have prevented a possible criminal incident by arresting a 42-year-old man.

The Blues have intervened to quell a conflict between neighbors in the village of Gizavesht, where a 42-year-old man fired a gun into the air to threaten an 80-year-old man.

"Immediately after the notification that in the village of Gizavesht, a citizen had shot a shotgun in the air, the services of the Librazhd Police Commissariat went to the scene, in order to prevent a possible criminal event and arrest the perpetrator. As a result of rapid operational actions, citizen S. Xh., 42 years old, was caught red-handed and put in handcuffs. This citizen is suspected of having shot a shotgun in the air during a conflict over property with his neighbor, citizen H. Xh., 80 years old, in the village of Gizavesht, to threaten him. No citizens were injured in the shooting," the police announced.

The officers seized, as material evidence, the shotgun and a quantity of combat ammunition, which were possessed without permission. (A2 Televizion)
