Two young men have been arrested by the Gjirokastra police after exploiting a 26-year-old woman for prostitution. According to the police, the young woman practiced prostitution in various cities in the country.
"At the end of the actions, citizens RL, 27 years old, resident of Tirana, and KD, 31 years old, resident of Grabjan, Divjaka, were arrested for the criminal offense of "Exploitation of prostitution", committed in collaboration". The police have also criminally prosecuted 2 other citizens for failing to report a crime, and have seized a sum of money suspected of having been obtained from this illegal activity and 6 mobile phones.

The police operation codenamed "Last night" is finalized.
They exploited a 26-year-old woman for prostitution, 2 citizens were caught and put in handcuffs.
Two other citizens are being prosecuted for failing to report a crime.
A sum of money suspected to have been gained from this illegal activity and 6 mobile phones were seized.
Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Trafficking at the Gjirokastër Police Department, in cooperation with the Memaliaj Police Station, as a result of investigative actions carried out under the direction of the Prosecution, following information provided by police intelligence, regarding a case of prostitution, have organized and finalized the operation codenamed "Last night".
The investigative actions resulted in the citizens RL and KD, in collaboration with each other, exploiting for prostitution a 26-year-old woman from Berat, who practiced prostitution in various cities.
At the end of the actions, citizens RL, 27 years old, resident of Tirana, and KD, 31 years old, resident of Grabjan, Divjaka, were arrested for the criminal offense of "Exploitation of prostitution", committed in collaboration.
Also, criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens HI, 40 years old, resident of Tropoja, and RN, 36 years old, resident of Libofshë, Fier, for the criminal offense of "Failure to report a crime", as they were aware of this case and had not reported it.
As material evidence, a sum of money suspected of having been obtained from this illegal activity, as well as 6 mobile phones, were seized.
The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastra, for further action. (A2 Televizion)
