Police officers in Vlora have successfully completed an anti-drug operation, arresting a 48-year-old man who was hiding and distributing cocaine in his bar.
The police inform that as part of the investigations and after receiving accurate information from police intelligence, a search was conducted at a bar-cafe on "Demokracia" street, owned by citizen LT, a resident of the "Osman Haxhiu" neighborhood.
During the search, 55 suspected doses of cocaine, ready for sale, as well as 10 live ammunition, held without a permit, were found and seized in the premises of the bar.
At the end of the operation, LT was arrested in flagrante delicto and procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for the criminal offenses of "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and combat ammunition."
