New details have emerged regarding the TNT explosion that occurred shortly after midnight in the Partizani neighborhood of the city of Elbasan.
One of the leads that the police are investigating is the staging of the event by the apartment owners themselves and a relative of theirs, for reasons yet to be confirmed.
Official sources indicate that the TNT bomb was planted by the owner of the apartment, Arbër Pepa. The latter, in collaboration with his nephew, planted the TNT with the aim of using the incident as a reason to obtain asylum in EU countries.
Arbër Pepa crossed the border into Greece shortly before midnight with his wife and child. At that moment, his nephew set off the TNT. (A2 Televizion)
